I understand that the moderators don't like to delete posts in this community, fair enough. I'd like to make a simple suggestion; why don't we all contribute to quality control by making a more concerted effort to stop feeding the trolls? You know the argument. If people stopped responding to posts made solely with the intent to inflame, the motivation for making these posts would be removed. People who wanted to trigger discussion would have to posit something sensible and cogent rather than just something inflammatory, the quality of posts increases and almost everyone, except the troll(s), is happier.
(Sorry to spam the list with this, but in my defense, I think it's more relevant to members of the community than many of the things recently posted.)
