We have a president who tells the truth. He didn't dress up today's speech with all kinds of prettiness. He said people would have to make painful sacrifices. But they would be for the good of the future. I still feel for folks who are losing their jobs, and it may be cold comfort for them that he was honest. But i would still rather have honesty than political spin. Or inaction.

Date: 1/6/09 22:51 (UTC)the "government" that you speak are all MBA's and financier that are probably better qualified than the guys who've been mismanaging GM/ Chrysler/ whoever for years. so i say let em at it. if it doesn't work, then come back and say 'i told you so'. but so far it's working with Chrysler.
