This one is terrible and disgusting, as the girl actually seems to be proud of making herself look and act like a streetwalker and a common whore. I had the sound off, so I don't know what the lyrics were like. It just highlights the insane sexualization of children that our society is perpetuating.
That must just a case of social mores, because I didn't notice that the first time, and having just watched it again, I still don't see what you're talking about.
You didn't notice the guy trying to pick her up in the alley when she's wearing a sweater dress that barely covers her crotch? You didn't notice the glammed-up makeup she's wearing at the club, again with a really short skirt? As far as I can tell, she's probably around 13, but I can't anything that says.
Well personally I'd guess she was about 16-18 and for that age group dressing like that seems pretty typical to me. Especially if she was out trying to meet boys.
I mean, you probably recall the famous quote about the behaviour of children these days, how lewd their behaviour and immodest their dress and so forth and how this is evidence for the moral decay of society. I mean the one by Plato from two and half thousand years ago.
"The young people of today think of nothing but themselves. They have no reverence for parents or old age. They are impatient of all restraint. They talk as if they alone knew everything and what passes for wisdom with us is foolishness with them. As for girls, they are forward, immodest and unwomanly in speech, behavior and dress." (Republic, Book 4; Plato)
I mean, sometimes I start to agree with the general gist of what you've just said, but then I recall that quote. It really makes a mockery of us old fogeys.
