Yeah, I'm gonna call bullshit on this. There's no way that any injury sustained by a man can compare to labour. Have you ever seen a woman giving birth? The very idea of going through that terrifies me. And we women experience pain every single month so I'm pretty sure that builds up our pain tolerance levels.
I'd check out the scientific studies on gender and sex and pain tolerance. (I can't find the link now, but there was one study that also took into account how the participants performed gender and that had an effect on pain coping styles as well.)
