Yet another stunning example of Trump's outrageous corruption. November could not come soon enough.

Trump asked China’s Xi to help him win reelection, according to Bolton book

"President Trump asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to help him win the 2020 U.S. election, telling Xi during a summit dinner last year that increased agricultural purchases by Beijing from American farmers would aid his electoral prospects, according to a damning new account of life inside the Trump administration by former national security adviser John Bolton."

I don’t know whether that's true, but it does fit the dismal pattern.

Trump publicly hinted that the Chinese had Biden dirt last summer.

I think it was obvious to the Chinese, as it was to the Ukrainians that Trump could have cared less about either foreign policy or facts, and would have been just as happy if they had invented some. Trump invents his own "facts", so why wouldn't they?

And Kiev, Beijing, and just about every other capital knows better than to believe or trust Trump, or play his game.

Which doesn't mean they wouldn't attempt to get him re-elected, of course.

You know, I'm not even surprised by this any more... which is sad. Trump is scum.

I'd say keep trying as often as needed. Even if the trial in the Senate ends up going the same way over and over. Getting the crimes on the record as indicted if not convicted matters. Particularly with this guy, at this point in time.

One thing's for sure, some folks have made good money after having briefly stayed around the Turd In Chief.

The problem with reading anything by any among that gang of thieves is that there is no way to no what is, and what isn't, true.

All we really know for sure is that Bolton didn't manage to sucker Trump into a full-scale war and that they had a falling out.

Without iron-clad proofs, we would be wise to treat his book as the angry mutterings of a spurned lover, nothing more.

Suppose we had a tape recording of Trump declaring what he’d asked for and why. Would that be iron-clad?

Er, sure. If you're trying to imply I'm a Trump supporter, you're barking up the wrong tree.
