First Im'ma just throw this in, to get things going a bit:

Key US allies 'perplexed' as Trump treats friends like enemies

"President Donald Trump's decision to cancel his historic meeting with North Korea's Kim Jong Un left South Korea's President "perplexed" and sparked angry protests in Seoul. One sign read: "We condemn Trump. Welcome to life these days as a close US ally."

Then we proceed with this:

Trump Furious After Nobel Committee Gives Him Participation Trophy

Sorry Don, no Nobel for ya. Thanks Obama!

Then we get more serious (because domestic policies is always serious, whereas foreign policy is, well, just a game).

Trump signs executive orders cracking down on federal unions representing about 2.1 million employees

Getting ready to go after teachers next. It's amazing the pace at which he's dismantling everything that has been achieved by America in decades. It'll probably take decades again to undo what he's going to do for these 4 (8!?) years.

But that's not all...

Well, I have to believe they are not slip ups, these are carefully thought out statements. Just enough to make his opponents rabid, just enough for his extreme supporters to hear the dog whistles, just vague enough that the willfully ignorant can dismiss it. Sure, tamed, you know, forested, farmed, etc. It's really beautifully divisive propaganda. Ya know, like he promised on inauguration day: be a president to all Americans, and unite America, and make it great again. Oh wait...

But that's still not all.

Trump: Why didn't FBI tell me about 'phony Russia problem' during campaign

He's playing quite a game to destroy the independence of the US Justice Department. For those of his supporters who don't know, a target, a witness or anyone else within the purview of an investigation is not even supposed to know the investigation is going on. But hey, the Republicans screwed Hillary by releasing details and now he wants to screw the Justice Department by claiming they should have released the details on his investigation. Neither should happen. But hey, his supporters won't believe the truth whatever happens...

And that's just within this passing week. There are how many weeks remaining until the end of this presidency, again?

I have a very wealthy, "arms-length" sort of chum who is a Scientologist. These are exactly the descending scale of arguments he uses to justify his Scientology. Weirdly enough he's a big Trump supporter and correctly predicted Trump's victory. David Miscavige's chaps are, to every last man, woman or child, supporters of the Donald, or so it appears.

There is such an odd coalition of folk supporting Trump, and the underlying connections seem not arbitrary but instead rather opaque. I assume someone is doing a formal analysis as we exchange views here, but I doubt you or I will ever see a copy of it.
