I've never been a fan of Dershowitz but I've respected him, his intellect, and his passion for the law. Over the past decade, I've watched as Dershowitz has, in my opinion, gone from an impartial advocate for the rule of law to a right wing crusader whose reputation will not survive Trump's presidency.

It seems to me that it started under Obama when he consistently attacked the then President as being the "one of the worst foreign policy presidents ever", largely because Obama treated Israel as an ally, but one that isn't always right and should be condemned when they are wrong. However, under Trump, he's doubled down on his crusading and defense of Trump et al.

My question, can you think of any other 'celebrity' or other person who you 'respected' who has done irreparable harm to their reputation/image by their support/opposition to Trump and his presidency? Who would you include in such a list of self-harming celebrities.
