madali.livejournal.comSo I was just thinking of West Bank. I mean, everyone is Gaza this and Hamas that, so I was wondering whats up with West Bank. I mean, that place is controlled by Fatah and Mohammad Abbas, the west's best buddy and the answer to evil, evil Hamas.

West Bank protester shot dead by Israeli troops
A Palestinian demonstrator was shot dead by Israeli troops in the northern West Bank on Sunday during a protest against the Gaza Strip offensive, medics and security officials said.Mufid al-Walwil, 21, was killed when Israeli troops opened fire on a group of Palestinians who were throwing stones at them near the separation barrier in Qalqilya.
WEST BANK: Rounded up in a Hamas crackdown
This article shows that people are starting to support Hamas in West Bank, and the secret police are cracking down and detaining them.
Rockets make Israel rethink West Bank pullback
This article confused me. It explains how Israel might now rethink of pulling out of West Bank, but I thought they already HAD pulled out of West Bank. So what is Mohammad Abbas the president of? My pants?
Israelis nab 15 Palestinians in West Bank
A spokesman for the Israeli army said that the troops made the arrests during their raids on the West Bank cities of Nablus, al-Khalil and East al-Quds early morning.
On Wednesday, the forces arrested twenty-two Palestinians including two children from the West bank.
That one is an Iranian source, so you can ignore it if you want. Although, I found other sources, I admit they are not exactly BBC. This could either be not entirely true, but to be honest, can as likely be true and that most news sources will not pick up on it as they won't come from an official source (such as Israel) and its not a big enough to get really worked up about. Israel arrests Palestanians. Pff. Why don't you report on the sun rising next?
This post is just to give some love to West Bank, so that it doesnt feel jealous of all the Gaza attention and go all emo on us.
