Let's not be fooled. A candidate who fails to make regular references to God and Jesus at every corner, has no chances of being elected. What's more, they'll probably end up being shouted down by the loudest religious fundies for failing to live up the Biblical standards or something.
And that even extends to agnostics (I'm not sure too many people can make the distinction between atheist and agnostic, tbh; here at my place, they certainly can't).
